Margeride is a secret ground, which formerly belonged to the county of Gévaudan. The natural landscapes such as the Monts de la Margeride, the Gorges de la Truyère, the plateau de l’Aubrac and the Grandes Causses have been well preserved. Do not miss: the viaduct of Garabit at 6 km, the National Monument of the Resistance of the Mont Mouchet at 12 km, the Museum of Margeride, the school of Clemence Fontille, the bisons reserve of Europe and the park of wolves.

Lake near the viaduct of Garabit at 6 km, with water activities. Life guards in July and August.
Activities :
Outdoor heated swimming pool at 50 m (municipal, not free), pétanque (boules), playground, table tennis, basketball and volleyball.

Sport tournaments. evening animation once a week, animation program organized by the local office of tourism.

Reception, little grocery store (very simple) bread sale and laundry facilities.
Mobile-homes :
Twenty mobile-homes with a surface of 29 m², equipped for 6 persons.
In each mobile-home you will find a room with 1 double bed of 140 cm, 2 rooms with 2 single beds each. Kitchen with a sink, warm water, a gas hob with 4 burners, microwave oven and a refrigerator. A bathroom with a shower, a separated toilet. Garden furniture with a large parasol or sunshade. Electric heater.

110 pitches of which there are 20 sunny pitches with water evacuation, and 20 bungalows on 7 ha. This camp-site, at 800 m from Ruynes en Margeride's centre, offers a panoramic view on the mountain chain of the Cantal. All pitches have electricity.
Different kinds of shops at 800 m.
Cabins :
20 Cabins equipped for 2 to 5 persons. They all have electric heaters and a terrace. There is no water or sanitary facilities in the cabins, a sanitary block is reserved for our cabin guests. Take with you; bedclothes, sleeping bags and pillows.
3 Cabins 2 pers. of 6,92 m² :
Equipped with one room in which you find a double bed of 140 cm, a small kitchen, a good fridge, electric hob, mini-oven and a jerry can.
3 Cabins 4 pers. of 9,28 m² :
Equipped with one room in which you find 2 bunk beds of 70 cm, a small kitchen, a good fridge, electric hob, mini-oven and a jerry can
2 Cabins 4 pers. of 9,59 m² :
Equipped with one room in which you find 1 double bed of 140 cm, a bunk bed of 70 cm, a small kitchen, a good fridge, electric hob, mini-oven and a jerry can.
8 Cabins 4 pers. of 12,12 m² :
Equipped with a room in which you find 1 double bed of 140 cm, a small kitchen, a good fridge, electric hob, mini-oven and a jerry can. And in a second small room there is a bunk bed of 70 cm.
4 Cabins 5 pers. of 17,24 m² :
Equipped with a room in which you find 1 double bed of 140 cm, a small kitchen, a good fridge, electric hob, mini-oven and a jerry can. And in a second small room there is a double bed of 140 cm and a single high bed of 70 cm.
